The Pre-COP
Business Action Summit

7th 9th October 2026

Sydney, Australia

Protecting and creating value for the future.

Protecting and creating value for the future.

The transition to a net zero, nature-positive global economy is no longer a question of ambition — it is a question of execution.

In the lead-up to COP31, governments, investors and businesses face a shared challenge: how to convert commitments into capital flows, procurement decisions and deployable projects at scale. Global markets are shifting rapidly toward clean energy, resilient supply chains and natural capital solutions — but capital requires credible, investment-ready pathways. Corporate and public procurement decisions will be one of the most powerful levers in accelerating this transition.

The pre COP business action summit

Actionate is designed to accelerate that shift. By convening international businesses, investors, societal leaders and innovators, the Summit will provide a deal-focused environment where verified solutions connect directly with finance, trade and implementation partners — protecting value, creating new growth and delivering measurable impact ahead of COP31.

Four action pavilions

Actionate is structured around four focused Action Pavilions — areas where business can deliver the fastest and largest positive impact.

Energy Transition & Efficiency

Accelerating clean, reliable and affordable energy across power, industry, buildings and transport — strengthening energy security, resilience and system performance.

Oceans

& Nature

Regenerating the natural systems that underpin economies, supply chains and human wellbeing — across land and sea — while embedding nature into decision-making and finance.

Value Chains
& Trade

Transforming global supply chains into climate-responsive, resilient and competitive systems through procurement power, supplier collaboration and trade mechanisms.

Health
&

Resilience

Protecting human health and strengthening the resilience of communities and essential systems in a changing climate — with a focus on co-benefits, adaptation and risk.

Outcomes that matter

Actionate measures success not by attendance, but by action — solutions converted into deals, capital mobilised and measurable outcomes delivered.

All showcased solutions will undergo independent impact valuation using internationally recognised methodologies, quantifying economic, environmental and social value for investors and society.

Key metrics will include deals secured, investment committed, jobs created, countries benefiting, value protected and created, and meaningful First Nations and Pacific engagement.
